These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of tessornex's services. Please read them carefully before making a booking or using our website.
1. Definitions
Throughout this Agreement, the following terms carry the meanings set out below:
- "tessornex" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" — tessornex, a vehicle hire and chauffeured service business registered in Singapore, operating from 7 Straits View, #18-03, Marina One East Tower, Singapore 018936.
- "Client" / "You" — any individual, company, or organisation that books, enquires about, or uses our services.
- "Service" — any car hire or chauffeured vehicle arrangement provided by tessornex, including the Sunset Chauffeur Circuit, Five-Day Touring Lease, and Diplomatic Arrival Service.
- "Website" — the tessornex website accessible at https://tessornex.info.
- "Agreement" — these Terms & Conditions, together with any service confirmation issued by tessornex.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting a booking enquiry, confirming a service, or using the tessornex website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you are booking on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to enter into this Agreement on their behalf.
You must be at least 18 years of age to book or use our services. For self-drive hire arrangements, additional licence and eligibility requirements apply as described in Section 7.
3. Service Description
tessornex provides chauffeured and self-drive vehicle services within and in connection with Singapore. Services are subject to availability and operational requirements. tessornex reserves the right to adjust route details, vehicle specifications, or service arrangements where circumstances require, and will notify clients of material changes in advance where possible.
Service descriptions on our website and in communications are provided for guidance. Exact vehicle models, specific routes, and timing may vary within the parameters of the booked service. Geographic restrictions apply — services are designed for operation within Singapore unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Booking & Payment
A booking is considered confirmed only when tessornex has issued a written confirmation and received a deposit or full payment as agreed. Prices are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
- Deposit: A deposit of 30% of the total service value may be required at the time of booking confirmation. The balance is due no later than 48 hours before the service commencement.
- Full payment: Certain services or short-notice bookings may require full payment at the time of confirmation.
- Payment methods: Bank transfer and major credit cards are accepted. Details will be provided in the booking confirmation.
tessornex does not store card details. Payment processing is handled by a third-party provider operating under applicable security standards.
5. Cancellations & Amendments
Cancellation terms are calculated from the date and time of the confirmed service commencement:
- More than 72 hours before service: Full refund of any amounts paid, less a SGD 50 administrative fee.
- 24–72 hours before service: 50% of the total service value will be retained.
- Less than 24 hours before service: No refund will be issued.
- No-show: If the client does not attend at the confirmed time and location, the full service value is forfeited.
Amendment requests (date, time, or service changes) should be submitted in writing and are subject to availability. tessornex will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes but cannot commit to doing so within 24 hours of a service.
6. User Responsibilities
Clients using tessornex services agree to the following:
- Provide accurate contact and booking information at the time of enquiry.
- Be present at the agreed pickup location at the confirmed time. tessornex drivers will wait up to 15 minutes before the engagement is considered a no-show.
- Treat drivers and tessornex staff with respect. tessornex reserves the right to terminate a service in progress if conduct is deemed inappropriate, without refund.
- Comply with all applicable laws during the service, including those governing conduct in public spaces.
- Not use tessornex services for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that causes harm to persons or property.
7. Vehicle Use (Self-Drive)
Where a self-drive service is booked (e.g. Five-Day Touring Lease), the following conditions apply:
- The primary driver must hold a valid driving licence recognised in Singapore. Foreign nationals must hold an International Driving Permit or a licence issued in a country recognised by the Singapore Traffic Police.
- Vehicles must not be driven outside Singapore unless expressly agreed in writing prior to the engagement.
- The client is responsible for all traffic infringements and parking charges incurred during the hire period.
- Vehicles must be returned at the agreed time, location, and in the same condition as delivered, accounting for reasonable use. Damage beyond normal wear will be charged at cost.
- Smoking in or around the vehicle is not permitted. A cleaning surcharge of SGD 250 applies if this condition is breached.
- Comprehensive insurance is included in the hire fee. The client's excess liability in the event of an at-fault incident is SGD 1,000 unless otherwise stated in the booking confirmation.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the tessornex website — including text, images, branding, and service descriptions — is the property of tessornex and protected by applicable intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive licence to access and view this content for the purpose of enquiring about or booking services. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written consent.
9. Disclaimers
tessornex provides services in good faith and with reasonable care. However, we do not make representations that services will be entirely free of disruption. Circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including traffic incidents, weather, or third-party venue restrictions — may affect service delivery. We will communicate known disruptions promptly and offer alternatives where possible.
The website and its content are provided as a general guide. Information may be updated periodically and should not be relied upon as definitive without confirming current details directly with our team.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, tessornex's total liability for any claim arising under this Agreement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
tessornex is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profit, loss of opportunity, or reputational harm, arising from use of our services or any failure to deliver a service due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in this Agreement limits tessornex's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold tessornex harmless from any claims, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of this Agreement, misuse of our services or vehicles, or violation of applicable law during a service engagement.
12. Termination
Either party may cancel a confirmed booking under the conditions set out in Section 5. tessornex may terminate a service immediately and without refund if the client breaches a material term of this Agreement — including prohibited vehicle use, inappropriate conduct toward staff, or engagement in unlawful activity.
Provisions of this Agreement that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations and dispute resolution terms) will remain in effect following the conclusion of a service.
13. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree first to attempt to resolve the matter informally by contacting tessornex at [email protected] and allowing a period of 14 days for discussion.
If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be referred to the Singapore Mediation Centre for mediation before any formal legal proceedings are commenced. Each party shall bear its own mediation costs unless otherwise agreed. If mediation fails, the matter shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
14. General Provisions
Entire agreement: This Agreement, together with any written booking confirmation, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof.
Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right.
Assignment: You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement without tessornex's prior written consent.
Updates: tessornex may update these Terms periodically. The version in effect at the time of a booking confirmation governs that engagement. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of revised terms for future engagements.
